Ingredients

500g shrimp per person

½ lemon per person

Mayonnaise

Baguette, white bread or sourdough

Butter

Green salad

Fresh dill

Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Defrost the shrimp slowly in the fridge overnight or on a oven pan on top of kitchen paper for approx. 4 hours in room temperature.

Step 2

Slice the bread, toast the slices if preferred. Lettuce, dill ,lemon wedges and mayonnaise are arranged nicely on the table.

Step 3 

Each person peel their own shrimp and prepare their own sandwiches at the table.

Step 3 

Bread, butter, lettuce, shrimp and mayonnaise with dill and lemon juice. Black pepper and slices of hardboiled egg if preferred. This is the classic version of shrimp sandwich with some variations in Scandinavia.
